How to use free Seagate/Maxtor DiskWizard(=Acronis v.11) on ANY drive: Solution is when the "No Seagate/Maxtor drive detected error" screen appears, press and hold the "Alt" key, then type the two letters "to" (for tech override), then click the "OK" button. It seems strange that Intel would include these software packages without any way to even try them.
I'm not asking how to hack the program or get serial number cracks. Anyone know where to get the activation numbers? I mean the REAL legal activation numbers. But can't find anything about the serial numbers. I looked on the Intel site and googled it. Nothing came with my board (a DP43TF) this time.
I know with other Intel m-boards in the past, Intel included a paper in the m-board box with serial numbers or directions on how to activate the various freebie software packages (like Norton and diskkeeper). But the prog keeps asking for a serial number when I try to activate it through the site. I was particularly interested in trying Acronis to produce a disk image. On the driver disk that came with my new DP43TF board, there are some programs like Acronis back-up and Diskkeeper. I don't know if this is the best place to post this, so let me know if there's a better place.Īnyone know how to activate the Acronis back-up software that comes with many Intel boards?
